It is already early November, and my parsers collected fresh data a while ago. Today I am sharing an analysis of the rating update and project news.
#Project news
#New technologies
This month we added several technologies:
Fortran, ClickHouse, RabbitMQ, Kafka
#Technology moves
Qt was moved from libraries to frameworks.
#Removed technologies
Ant Design was removed from the rating.
#Parser improvements
The main improvement this month is a complete parser rework. We significantly reduced the percentage of irrelevant vacancies that get into the analysis. The filtering algorithm became smarter:
- It recognizes the context of a technology mention in a vacancy description better;
- It reduces the impact of accidental matches by name;
- It improves rating accuracy.
Expect even bigger parser improvements in the coming month.
#FAQ improvements
In the "Frequently Asked Questions" section, we described the rating methodology in more detail:
- How data is collected (HeadHunter, Habr Career);
- How statistical normalization is applied (Z-score);
- How the final score is calculated (3-50 points).
